The John Guest 3/8" to 1/2" Elbow PI211612S is a reducing push-fit connector designed to join 3/8" OD pipe to 1/2" OD pipe at a 90° angle.

Manufactured from grey acetal, this John Guest reducing elbow provides a quick way to change both the pipe size and direction within compatible drinks dispense, beverage, water and cooling systems.

The push-fit connections allow compatible tubing to be installed without threaded adaptors, hose clips or sealing compounds.

3/8" to 1/2" Reducing Elbow

Unlike an equal elbow, the PI211612S connects two different pipe sizes:

  • 3/8" OD pipe
  • 1/2" OD pipe

The 90° configuration makes it particularly useful where pipework needs to change direction while transitioning between 3/8" and 1/2" tubing.

Push-Fit Installation

Compatible pipe is pushed fully into each side of the fitting to create the connection.

When the pipe needs to be removed, push the collet towards the fitting while withdrawing the tubing.

Always ensure pipe is cut cleanly and square before inserting it into a push-fit connector.

This fitting is designed for 3/8" OD and 1/2" OD tubing. Check the outside diameter of your pipe before ordering.

It is a reducing elbow, not an equal elbow – the two push-fit connections are different sizes.
