KeyKeg Deflator Tool – Red Cap Keg Deflator
The KeyKeg Deflator Tool is designed for releasing the remaining pressure from an empty KeyKeg before disposal or recycling.
Also known as a KeyKeg red cap deflator, the tool fits onto the KeyKeg valve and opens the valve to allow residual pressure to escape in a controlled manner.
How to Use the KeyKeg Deflator
Once the KeyKeg is empty:
- Take the keg to a suitable outdoor or well-ventilated area.
- Position the red deflator tool over the KeyKeg valve.
- Push the tool firmly down.
- Turn clockwise to engage the valve.
- Allow the remaining pressure to vent completely.
Follow the KeyKeg manufacturer's current disposal and recycling instructions after depressurising.
