The 3/16" Beer Reducer Pipe is food-grade beverage tubing commonly used in draught beer dispense systems to help control product flow between the cellar equipment and beer tap. Its smaller internal bore creates additional resistance in the beer line, making it useful for balancing dispense pressure and controlling flow at the tap.
Common applications include running 3/16" beer line from a FOB detector to a flow controller, and from the flow controller through to the beer font or tap.
Price is per metre – 1 quantity = 1 metre of pipe.
Unlike larger-bore product pipe, 3/16" beer reducer pipe creates greater resistance as beer travels through the line.
The correct length of reducer pipe can therefore be used as part of balancing a draught beer system, helping control the flow rate at the dispense point.
The amount required will depend on the individual installation, operating pressure, product and dispense equipment.
3/16" reducer pipe is commonly installed between compatible:
It can also be used alongside larger-bore beer pipe where a section of smaller-bore tubing is required to provide additional flow resistance before the dispense point.
As this pipe carries the beverage, it should be included in the regular beer line cleaning procedure.
Always use a suitable beer line cleaning chemical according to the manufacturer's instructions for dilution, contact time and rinsing.
This 3/16" beer reducer pipe is sold by the metre.
1 quantity = 1 metre
For example, if you require a 5 metre length, order a quantity of 5. Where possible, multiple metres will be supplied as one continuous length.
